Terms and conditions

These terms apply to your use of carreno.com, to the conversations we have by message, email or phone, and to the services you hire from me. By using them, you accept these terms. The Spanish version is the page of términos y condiciones.

Who provides the services

Gustavo Adolfo Carreño Monroy, a sole proprietor doing business as Carreño, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. Contact: gustavo at carreno.com.

The services

I provide technology and artificial intelligence consulting: artificial intelligence applied to operations, process automation, fractional technology leadership, SAP consulting, and assistants that answer calls and messages.

• The first half hour of conversation is free and carries no commitment.
• All paid work is agreed in writing before it starts, with its scope, price and payment terms. If that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement prevails.
• Prices published on carreno.com are in Mexican pesos, plus VAT, and are confirmed when the work is agreed.

Demonstrations and automated assistants

Some calls and messages are handled by an automated assistant powered by artificial intelligence, which tells you so at the start. Those conversations may be recorded and transcribed to provide and improve the service.

A demonstration is a sample: it shows how a service would work using what you told it, and what the assistant says there is illustrative only. It is not an offer, a quote or a commitment on behalf of your business or mine.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from Carreño, these conditions apply:

• You will receive replies to your inquiries, appointment confirmations and reminders, and follow-up on an ongoing service.
• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one final confirmation and no further messages.
• Reply HELP for help, or email me at the address above.
• Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of any purchase.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How your number and your information are protected is explained in the privacy policy.

Confidentiality

I treat what you tell me about your company as confidential and use it only to serve you. When the work calls for it, we sign a separate confidentiality agreement.

Ownership

The content of carreno.com, including its text, photographs and logo, belongs to me, and reproducing it requires my written permission. What I deliver to you in paid work, such as the operations review document, is yours under the terms of that work's agreement.

Limitation of liability

The content of this website is for information only and is not advice for your particular case. My liability for a hired service is limited to what you paid for that service, unless the written agreement says otherwise or the law does not allow it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the federal laws of Mexico. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Mexicali, Baja California.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is published at this same address with its update date at the top.
